Energise Sport Teams up with Setanta College

Energise Sport was today announced as the Official Partner of Setanta College, the sports college that provides nationally and internationally recognised and accredited practical courses in Sports, Fitness and Coaching studies.
The new partnership was announced at the official launch of Setanta College by leading sports Physiologist, Dr. Liam Hennessy and Jim Kilty of Speed Agility Quickness (SAQ) Ireland.
Dr. Hennessy is National Fitness Director of the IRFU and he has maintained close ties with Energise Sport, since formulating the sports drink in 2003. Energise Sport is the only leading sports drink that is 100% made in Ireland. SAQ Ireland is dedicated to developing the speed, agility and quickness of players and athletes from a wide range of competitive sports and Mr Kilty is the former Director of Coaching with Athletics Ireland and Olympic Track & Field coach.
The combined levels of experience, expertise and passion for sport and fitness will enable Setanta College and Energise Sport, to create new opportunities for sporting success.
Christine Keohane, Senior Brand Manager, Energise Sport said, "This is a natural partnership for the Energise Sport brand, which has already experienced great success in the sports arena being the Official Sports Drink to the Gaelic Players Association (GPA) and the Irish Rugby Union Players Association (IRUPA).
"We are delighted to be in a position to expand the brand's commitment to Irish Sport, particularly Gaelic Games, and the training and development of teams and coaches. We consider all of our sporting sponsorships very carefully and with the caliber of team behind Setanta College, we are fully committed to this association.
In addition to this partnership, Energise Sport has announced a second series of Sports Conditioning Seminars will take place in the coming months, following their successful initial run in late 2006. The Seminars are held throughout Ireland in conjunction with the GPA, and aim to promote the importance and effectiveness of sound physical conditioning for GAA players.
